Canada-Brazil Joint Research Award Now Open to Graduate Students and Professors

Global Affairs Canada and the Federal Agency for Support and Evaluation of Graduate Education (CAPES) of Brazil are offering scholarships that will give professors and graduates from both countries the opportunity to conduct team-based research in the other country. [Read more…]

New $10 Million Scholarship Program to Support Southeast Asia Education Exchange

Young Student from Southeast Asia Outdoors on campusCanada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, has announced that Canada will provide CAD $10 million over a five-year period to support post-secondary students and mid-career professionals from Southeast Asia to gain access to world-class education in Canada.

Minster Freeland announced the new scholarship on August 6 at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) regional forum in Manila, Philippines. [Read more…]

BC Continues to Invite Graduates to Apply to Immigrate Through BC PNP

Those with the intention to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) need to ensure their program qualifies for a PGWP upon graduation, even if the program is offered by an academic institution on the government’s list of designated learning institutions (DLIs).
