Two graduates of the University of Waterloo, Rita Huang and Natalie Yang, have created a link between the technology sector in the Kitchener-Waterloo region in Ontario, Canada and technology enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and students back home in China.
After completing their undergraduate studies in China, both Huang and Yang decided to pursue a Master’s degree in ‘Digital Media Experience Innovation’ at the University of Waterloo, where 37 percent of graduate students come from abroad. [Read more…]

New $10 Million Scholarship Program to Support Southeast Asia Education Exchange
Canada’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chrystia Freeland, has announced that Canada will provide CAD $10 million over a five-year period to support post-secondary students and mid-career professionals from Southeast Asia to gain access to world-class education in Canada.
Minster Freeland announced the new scholarship on August 6 at the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) regional forum in Manila, Philippines. [Read more…]
