Quebec Dedicates $3.7 million to Welcome International Students

The flags of Canada and Quebec flutter in the breezeQuebec’s Minister of Education, Hélène David, has announced that the provincial government will inject an additional $12 million into the Quebec’s higher education system by March 31, 2017, with the majority of the money destined for CÉGEP (college) expenditures. Canada Revealed as Top Five Country for Educational Attainment

In 2015, 90 percent of people in Canada aged 25 to 64 had at least completed high school, and 66 percent had obtained a post-secondary educational credential. Both of these statistics are considerably above the OECD averages of 78 percent and 40 percent, respectively. Indeed, Canada came joint fifth worldwide — tying with the United States for first among English-speaking countries — according to these key performance indicators for educational attainment.
